Entering the “New Normal”

Updated: Aug 12

We are entering unprecedented times. COVID has affected every business, but the restaurant and hospitality business has without a doubt been some of the hardest hit. Our industry will not simply be able to go back to business as usual.

With the Forward Dane plan moving at full steam ahead, it appears the lockdown’s end might be on the horizon. Restaurants, bars, and venues open to the public will be opening up with various restrictions in place. And with that, most of us will have to adjust to the new “normal”, but that does not mean having to accept anything less than your safety.

Taking a stance

We built Clock’d so that professionals like yourself could choose when and where you want to work. We will not tell you when you can work, that is up to you, but our team is doing our best to ensure when you pick up a shift on our platform, it is up to a standard no less than any job we would take ourselves.

Every shift and every client on our platform will be vetted to ensure that our industry-standard COVID guidelines are met. We will also explore offering training to any person in the food and drink service under these guidelines.

“When you pick up a shift on our platform, it is up to a standard no less than any job we would take ourselves.”

If you have any questions about Clock’d, about work, or about these standards please do not hesitate to contact us directly. Stay safe Madison, we look forward to working with you.

-Clock’d CEO, Marc LaPierre
